Push - Future Proof
For this year’s Promax Broadcast Design Awards, Sydney-based motion/design studio DMCI produced a sexy slow-groove filled with geometric objects and warrior-dancers who telekinetically bust up most everything around them. The choreography, which is one part modern dance, one part Tekken, feels pretty comfortable in the soliloquy spotlight amidst the negative space. There’s not much ambiguity about the inspiration for the track (ahem… XX… ahem), but what better venue than the BDA’s to document current trends?
